About UsTertiary Sports Western Australia Inc. conducts inter-university sporting competitions and programs for university/tertiary students in Western Australia. The Association is governed by a Council, consisting of sport and recreation representatives from the five Western Australian Universities including Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia and The University of Western Australia. The ProgramEach year the Tertiary Sports W.A. Program runs from March to October. This Program includes State University Championships, Qualifiers for the Australian University Games and Developmental/Social sports as stand alone or multi sport events conducted using a 'tournament' style format with reduced playing times to allow for a full round robin competition on the date allocated for each sport. Where are Events Held?In order to ‘take the sport to the students’ and to increase sponsor exposure, Tertiary Sports W.A. events are held at a variety of university campuses and community venues.
